Seshan Ramaswamy - Board Member

Seshan is a highly accomplished and commercially astute healthcare professional, and brings over 14 years of industry experience to the Ageing With Grace Board. Seshan is qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Melbourne, and has gained his post-graduate Masters in Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Management. 

Seshan has demonstrated a strong track record for delivering shareholder value in highly complex operating environments, both at a site-specific, regional, and national level. Seshan offers the Ageing With Grace Board a broad range of working knowledge across various healthcare sub-industries including residential aged care, primary health care, community health and home care. He currently works as a General Manager within Residential Aged Care at Australian Unity, and has held a similar role previously with Regis Aged Care. Prior to this, Seshan was General Manager of a national community healthcare organisation, Own Body Mobile Health. Seshan was monumental in steering the organisation through change, including the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.  

Throughout his career, Seshan has exuded a passion for helping his clientele in leading their best lives. Seshan is most passionate about forging strong connections and partnerships, and in making a lasting difference to the lives of community dwelling senior citizens. In particular, he is active in minimising social isolation and loneliness, and in promoting healthy programs to the older population, in not only leading longer lives but ones with independence, dignity and choice. He merges his clinical background, industry experience and his business leadership skills in confidently delivering high quality solutions for all clientele. Seshan’s expertise lies within clinical and corporate governance, partnerships and networking, risk management and negotiation, all of which he looks forward to offering the Board of Management at Ageing With Grace. 

In his personal life, Seshan enjoys spending time with his wife, two young boys and Bernese Mountain Dog. Seshan’s passion for communities and program participation stems from his youth history with club sports, where he had competed in state and national level tennis and basketball
